This oral communication will be led by four recognised experts:

  • Matthias Hellberg-Naegele: Advanced Practice Nurse in Oncology | Member of the EONS Board | Co-Chair of the DGHO nursing group (Switzerland)

  • Kévin Le Berre: Lead Nurse | Paediatric Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, Necker Hospital (France)

  • Tiphanie Bourgeois: Lead Nurse | Paediatric Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, Necker Hospital (France)

  • Leo Almerol: Clinical Nurse Specialist | Vascular Access, NHS (United Kingdom)

This oral communication will bring together four international experts, each presenting concrete insights, operational methods and lessons learned from their own clinical environments , from pediatric cardiac intensive care to oncology and vascular access. Through their complementary experiences, the speakers will showcase actionable approaches to improve the consistency of IV line organization, enhance patient safety, support clinical workflows and strengthen team coordination across care settings.

CONTENIDOS DEL CURSO

Discussions will focus on the organisation of line set-ups, the standardisation of practices, the improvement of infusion safety and the fluidity of care processes, with a focus on actions that really make a difference on a daily basis.

The main lessons expected are:

  • Making chemotherapy administration safer through the integration of Qimono in Oncology.
  • Prevention of reflux and reduction of occlusions in multi-infusion configurations in intensive care with Bionector TKO.
  • Simplification of handling and reduction of infection risks in paediatrics through the use of Bionector.
